I help startups and studios build Unity products, extend existing projects, and solve performance problems. Work directly with me on your next milestone, from gameplay and multiplayer systems to technical art and browser delivery.
Systems thinking. Hands-on development. An eye for art.
I think about how your product fits together: the code, interactions, visuals, and the devices it needs to run on. I can build the Unity systems, create environments and materials, and work through the performance trade-offs between them.
For a small project, that means fewer handoffs. Within an existing team, it means someone who can work across development and art to move the project forward.
01
Build connected systems
I design gameplay, multiplayer, tools, and integrations around the product's workflow. On Viora, I connected the Unity frontend, real-time communication, and multiplayer interactions in a shared 3D space.
I create environments, shaders, materials, and lighting alongside my development work. For RACINO, I contributed race environments, custom shaders, and dynamic weather as part of the core team.
I consider visual quality, maintainability, and performance throughout development. On VyronVee, my work brought together showroom interactions, materials, lighting, and desktop WebGL optimization.
I led frontend and multiplayer development for a browser-based 3D conferencing platform, from MVP to production. My work covered the Unity client, real-time communication integrations, technical art, and browser delivery.
As founding engineer, I developed the Unity WebGL client, browser editor, and runtime gameplay systems for an AI-powered 3D creation prototype. I completed the technical handover before development paused ahead of public release.
As part of the core team, I worked on race environments, custom shaders, dynamic weather, and WebGL optimization. I contributed to worldbuilding for 12 real-life-inspired tracks.
Adil sets a new standard for professionalism, communication, quality of work, and above all, being an all-around great human being! 5 stars across the board!

Without a shadow of a doubt one of the most important members of our team. Excellent comprehension of task and time management. He always had a suggestion to move the project forward. Five out of Five ratings and hope to continue working with him for the foreseeable future.

One developer. Connected disciplines.
Unity development, from systems to visuals
↗
Gameplay and application systems
C# systems, interactions, interfaces, and runtime features for Unity games and real-time 3D applications.
↗
Multiplayer and integrations
Connect your Unity client to multiplayer, accounts, APIs, and persistent data, working with your backend team where needed.
↗
Prototypes and editor tools
Build the first usable workflow, a runtime editor, or tools that help your team create and manage content.
↗
Shaders and technical art
Bring together materials, lighting, environments, and rendering so the visuals work within the project's performance constraints.
↗
Profiling and optimization
Investigate frame-rate, memory, loading, and rendering problems. Measure what is happening and prioritize the fixes.
↗
Browser builds and handover
Unity WebGL delivery, deployment workflows, documentation, and technical handover for the next stage of your project.
A clear next step
From your brief to a working milestone.
Work with me on a scoped project or an ongoing contract. We agree on the priorities, scope, and availability before we start.
01
Share the project
Send a short brief, a build link, or the issue you need help with. I'll reply to understand your goals, current setup, and timing.
02
Agree on the next milestone
We define the scope, deliverables, working arrangement, and estimate. For ongoing work, we agree on priorities and availability.
03
Build, review, and hand over
I work in visible increments, review progress with you, and test against our agreed targets. Documentation and handover are part of the work.
Yes. I can join your developers and designers or take responsibility for a scoped part of the project. We start with the current build, codebase, and priorities.
Do you offer project work and ongoing contracts?
Both are possible. Tell me the scope, timing, and level of involvement you need. We agree on availability and the working arrangement before starting.
Do you only develop games?
No. My work also includes 3D conferencing, interactive showrooms, and a browser-based creation prototype. I use Unity for interactive products as well as games.
How much does it cost?
The estimate depends on the scope, current code, target devices, and integrations. Share your brief and any budget or deadline you have. I'll clarify the work before proposing an estimate.
Will you hand over the source and documentation?
We agree on source access, deliverables, and handover at the start. My process includes documentation and a technical handover so your team can continue the work.
What should I send in the first message?
A few sentences about the project and what you need next are enough. A build link, target platform, and approximate timing are helpful. You do not need a finished specification.
Let's make it work
What are you building or trying to fix?
Share your idea, a project link, or the issue you're running into. A few sentences are enough.
You'll hear from me directly.Adil Bouchnita · Unity developer & technical artist
